Armed members of the terrorist organization Boko Haram have kidnapped 20 more Nigerian women and the three men who tried to save them, according to the Guardian.

Vigilante groups have sprung up in the wake of Boko Haram’s increased abductions and attacks, and a member of one of those groups told the Guardian that gunmen arrived last Thursday in the middle of the day to abduct the women.

Three men tried to stop the abduction and were taken as well.

The men and women were abducted near the same town where nearly 300 school girls were abducted in mid-April. Most of the girls are still missing, although some have escaped.

The missing are believed to be in northeast Nigeria, although they could have easily been taken across the border into Cameroon or even Chad, where President Obama sent troops to aid in the search.
