It's crazy that this needs to be reiterated, but that's where we are today: In the wake of deadly tragedies, wait until after all of the corpses have been collected before taking political cheap shots.
It's just a matter of good taste and decency.
A Politico cartoonist may have learned this lesson earlier this week after he politicized Hurricane Harvey, but it appears his fellow political cartoonists didn't get the memo.
If you're going to use a national tragedy to make a stupid, ham-fisted political point, please be original.

Be good to one another. Hug your children. Don't let politics rule your life, and learn when to turn it off, if even for a few minutes.
