That’s the finding of TaxProf blogger Robert Anderson, who went through the records and reports that in the 2012 presidential campaign, 84 percent of contributions to major party nominees went to Barack Obama and 16 percent to Mitt Romney. No government lawyers at the National Labor Relations Board, the United Nations Mission or the Department of Education contributed to Mitt Romney. The Department of Defense had the highest proportion of lawyers contributing to Mitt Romney, but it was only 32 percent; 68 percent donated to Obama.

Tells you something about the culture and attitudes of government lawyers.
