A man has been arrested and charged with criminal mischief in connection to damages to Trump's golf club in New Jersey, according to a report Saturday.
Somerset County prosecutors announced the arrest of Clifford Tillotson, a 61-year-old Hawaii resident, accoding to Central New Jersey News.
Michael Robertson, Somerset County prosecutor, told the publication that on Sept. 12, around 8:35 a.m., the security director at Trump National Golf Club, reported to Bedminster Township Police that sometime in the preceding hours that nine golf course greens were damaged by an unidentifiable substance.
The damage consisted of words written on the grass with the unknown substance, a sample of which has been sent to a forensic lab to be analyzed. The estimated damage to the golf course was reportedly over $10,000.
