Wasserman Schultz: Dems have 'no gay agenda'
Supreme Court decisions are fast becoming the Democratic National Committee's BFF because for a second day the Democrats have drafted off a court decision with a fundraising pitch.
This time Chairwoman Debbie Wasserman Schultz is cheering the end of the Defense of Marriage Act in her fundraising memo feature a picture of a beaming President Obama.
On Tuesday, the Democrats blasted the court's decision to gut the Voting Rights Act.
In her note, Wasserman Schultz said that the party has "no gay agenda." Her note is below

The Supreme Court has just struck down the discriminatory Defense of Marriage Act, giving tens of thousands of Americans the federal rights and protections that they've been unfairly denied for years.
It's just the latest step we've made in recent years toward a more equal country where people aren't treated differently because of who they love.
This progress wouldn't have happened without the hard work of activists and people like you -- and we won't finish the fight for equality unless we all step up and finish it.
Commit to standing with the Democrats who are fighting for equality today, and let's make sure we have more days like this to celebrate.
New GOP bill would let states reject refugees
Republicans in the House and Senate have introduced legislation that would give governors the power to reject federal efforts to resettle refugees in their states.
The bill from Sen. Ted Cruz and Rep. Ted Poe, both of Texas, is a reaction to years of growing GOP frustration with the Obama administration's aggressive effort to take in refugees, and resettlement across the country. Republicans continue to have doubts that refugees can be vetted to ensure they aren't Islamic State terrorists.
The State Refugee Security Act would require the federal government to notify states at least 21 days before they seek to settle a refugee.
There is no gay agenda or straight agenda. As Democrats, our only agenda is full equality under the law for every American.
For so many Americans, today's decision was personal -- just as it was when President Obama signed the repeal of Don't Ask, Don't Tell, put in place hospital visitation rights for LGBT couples, and established the first comprehensive National HIV/AIDS Strategy.
Of course there is more to do. But today's decision shows how the tide has turned in our favor. By coming together and supporting Democrats across the country who are fighting for equal rights at the federal and state levels, we can make real progress.
