First lady Michelle Obama got an interesting fan letter this week - this one from singer Beyonce Knowles, who called Michelle the "ULTIMATE example of a strong African American woman." The 31-year-old star, who is married to rapper Jay Z, posted the open letter on her website Wednesday, praising the first lady for her poise under pressure, writing, "no matter the pressure, and the stress of being under a microscope — she's humble, loving and sincere." She also praised Obama for being a good role model for her new 3-month-old daughter, Blue Ivy Carter. "Michelle, thank you so much for every single thing that u do for us —I am proud to have my daughter grow up in a world where she has people like you to look up to," she wrote, underlining the word "proud" twice. Though there's been no word of whether or not she sent her handwritten love letter to the White House, this comes right on the heels of President Obama praising Jay-Z in a recent article in the Atlantic.
