New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio told President Trump to "get back to work" after the president praised his own response to hurricane-stricken Puerto Rico.
"88% of the island is without power more than two weeks after the storm hit. Stop congratulating yourself and get back to work," de Blasio tweeted Sunday night.
Trump earlier had tweeted an 8-minute video, claiming to show "what the fake news media will not show you in Puerto Rico."
"Nobody could have done what I've done for #PuertoRico with so little appreciation. So much work!" Trump's tweet read.
The Trump administration has been criticized for its response to the humanitarian crisis as more than half of residents don't have clean drinking water and millions are without power.
Trump visited the island last week, in which he joked that the crisis was hurting the federal budget.
De Blasio called Trump's response to the crisis "weak."
