D.C. police said they recovered the body of an adult male from the Potomac River near the 14th Street Bridge shortly after 10 a.m. on Saturday morning.
Police got a call about a body in the water Saturday and found the deceased just south of the bridge near the John Ericsson National Memorial. Police said they have identified the man but are not releasing his name publicly yet.
There were no signs of visible trauma to the body. The police are still investigating.
