During his "Ask the Governor" program on New Jersey radio station 101.5 FM, Gov. Chris Christie explained that there wasn't anything changing his mind about his ability to serve as president of the United States.

"I certainly am not, at this point, making any decision on it," he said Wednesday evening.

Without specifically mentioning the bridge closure controversy, Christie pointed out that "nothing" had happened in recent months that made him think he wasn't ready.

"There's certainly nothing that's happened in the last. you know. number of months since we talked about this the last time, that would make me think any differently about my ability to be able to pursue that job or performing it, but I haven't made any conclusions on that," he explained.
