Chris Christie is already excited about a snowy northern Super Bowl next February as the event is being hosted in the MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey.
Speaking on sports talk radio show “Boomer and Carton in the Morning” on WFAN, Christie explained that he was not worried about hosting a major sporting event in a northern city in February.
“What’s the problem? They play in snow all the time,” Christie said. “Listen, I’ve already got the plows fired up. They’re good to go, they’re ready to go. Let me tell you, nobody is going to be slipping on ice and not being able to get to the stadium.
Christie explained that what he really wanted was a snowstorm during the Superbowl.
“We’re from New Jersey! It snows all the time,” he said. “What’s the problem? (A) blinding snowstorm is what I’d like. I’d like a blinding snowstorm during the game. It would be amazing.”
