New Jersey Republican Gov. Chris Christie has absolutely nothing to say to Meghan McCain, daughter of the senior senator from Arizona and the 2008 GOP presidential nominee.
The host of the "Ask the Governor" show on New Jersey radio station 101.5 asked Christie Wednesday if he had a response to McCain after she told CNN's Piers Morgan that she was "over" Christie.
"Are we really going to be responding to Meghan McCain," Christie asked incredulously. "I'm not. It's so ridiculous and sophomoric that I have no response to Meghan McCain.
Christie added that if McCain's daughter was a New Jersey resident, he might respond to her. He also said if the senator had a question he would answer.
"I’m not going to respond to somebody just because of their last name,” Christie said.
