A Louisiana woman who drowned in a neighborhood pond on Wednesday has been identified as the sister of CNN anchor Don Lemon, according to officials.

L'Tanya "Leisa" Lemon Grimes, 58, was found Wednesday in a neighborhood pond in Livingston Parish. Officials said that it appears she may have tripped and fallen into the water as she was fishing and no foul play is suspected, reported WBRZ News 2, a local ABC affiliate,

"The Lemon's/Grimes family would like to thank everyone for their condolences and prayers at this time. Our family has suffered the tragic loss of L'Tanya Lemon Grimes and we are leaning on each other for strength at this time. We appreciate privacy as we grieve the loss of our loved one," the Lemon family said in a statement.

In a tweet Thursday, Lemon shared a lighthearted video celebrating Black History Month, saying it "lifted his spirits."

He later thanked "everyone for your words of sympathy" and shared a picture of his late sister.
