CNN's Jake Tapper sent out a flurry of tweets Saturday morning responding to Trump's Twitter attacks on journalists and asking the president to focus his Twitter usage on issues that will fruitfully impact the nation.

The tweets came after Trump launched his own spat of tweets aimed at top-rated news organizations and, for the third day in a row, used his account to continue his ongoing attack on "Morning Joe" co-hosts Joe Scarborough and Mika Brzezinski.

In his tweets, the president exclaimed his excitement over CNN finally being "exposed" as "garbage journalism," said former MSNBC reporter Greta Van Susteren was fired because she refused to cover Trump negatively and floated the possibility of states of trying to hide voter fraud.
