The Building Owners and Managers Association of Metropolitan Baltimore (BOMA Baltimore) has completed its first community project as part of its new Literacy Empowerment Advocacy Program.

The nonprofit organization of commercial real estate professionals collected $100,000 in cash and in-kind services and renovated the school’s library. The project took 600 labor hours and improved the library’s carpet, ceiling, walls, windows, furniture, technology and shelving.

The library will be officially dedicated the BOMA Baltimore Library in a ribbon-cutting ceremony this afternoon.
