DETROIT (AP) — A festival celebrating southeastern Michigan's musical and ethnic diversity is returning with a couple new venues and an expanded online presence.

The 21st annual Concert of Colors kicks off June 29 with its Tune Up Concert and the main event runs from July 4-7. New to the venue list this year is the Scarab Club on July 4 and the Museum of Contemporary Art Detroit for the Official Afterparty July 6.

Other Detroit venues include the Max M. Fisher Music Center, Detroit Institute of Arts and Charles H. Wright Museum of African American History.

On the social media front, Spotify and YouTube playlists have been created to help audiences preview the lineup. Concert of Colors also has launched a hashtag: #CofC2013.

Organizers announced the changes this week.
