A publisher of conservative authors says it will not recognize the way the New York Times tracks book sales, after years of believing that it downplays the success of conservative authors.
Regnery Publishing told its authors that they will no longer be able to tout how high up they go on the Times' list, and won't get bonuses that came from being on the list, according to the Fresno Bee.
Regnery has accused the Times of playing up left-leaning books, and is particularly mad that one of its books was left at No. 7 on the Times' list, even though others called it a top seller. That book was, The Big Lie: Exposing the Nazi Roots of the American Left.
Regnery publishes authors such as Mark Levin, Ann Coulter, and Laura Ingraham.
