Former Trump aide Corey Lewandowski said on Saturday Americans should be more alarmed by "the continued lies of the Clinton administration" than the potential Russia collusion scandal.
"The speculation is so insane right now. What we should be focusing on are the continued lies of the Clinton administration, the continued fallacies that they perpetuate," President Trump's former campaign manager told Fox News.
It was unclear whether Lewandowski was referring to former President Bill Clinton's administration, which ended on Jan. 20, 2001.
Lewandowski also said he is "certain" a charge that was reportedly filed Friday in special counsel Robert Mueller's Russia investigation "has nothing to do with the president."
