Damn, the Democrats are angry.

In fundraising emails dispatched this week in advance of the March 31 quarterly funding deadline, top Democrats have resorted to cuss words to inspire loyalists to write checks.

Leading the %&$#@ campaign is Jim Messina, President Obama's former campaign manager and chairman of the campaign's new offshoot, Organizing for Action.

"I want to make one thing absolutely clear: We're up against a whole lot more than just opposition in Congress," he writes.

"We're up against interest groups with money to burn -- organizations willing to drop every last penny they have to stop President Obama's agenda in its tracks. We're already seeing it on gun violence, and immigration reform -- they're going to spend millions to throw a wrench in the works of progress.

"You can be damned sure that this is not going to stop," he added.

Ragin' Cajun James Carville spilled his guts out in a fundraiser for Virginia gubernatorial candidate Terry McAuliffe.

"We re-elected President Obama. We picked up seats in the Senate and the House. Now some people think we can relax for a few years? Ridiculous!" he said.

"After we took back the White House in 2008, we basked in our success and lost our sense of fight -- then we proceeded to lose a few key races in 2009 and get our behinds absolutely handed to us in 2010. That's how President Obama got stuck with the obstructionist House of Representatives that has voted to repeal Obamacare thirty-three times.

"Well, I'll be damned if we let that happen again," he said.
