They may not be getting married anytime soon, but Dax Shepard and Kristen Bell are expecting their first child.

The couple, who have been dating since 2007 and engaged for three years, are due in late spring.

"They're so excited -- they're both ecstatic. They can't wait to become parents," a friend of the couple tells People magazine.

But neither Dax, 37, nor Kristen, 32, will be pushing marriage now that a baby is on board.

The couple don't plan to marry until same-sex marriage is legal in their home state of California.

"We're not punishing America by not getting married," the "Parenthood" actor told CNN in August. "We're not going to have a party and invite our friends, half of whom can't [get married]. We're not going to ask them to come celebrate a rite they don't have. That's just tacky." Kristen added that having kids before marriage "doesn't really bother us."

"We'll have them out of wedlock," Dax said. "We're not worried about that."

Facing it head on

Sharon Osbourne recently revealed she had a double mastectomy after learning she carries a gene that increases the risk of developing breast cancer, the Associated Press reports.

Sharon, 60, told Hello! magazine, "I didn't want to live the rest of my life with that shadow hanging over me."

The "America's Got Talent" judge, who had colon cancer a decade ago, said that without the surgery, "the odds are not in my favor."

She added: "It's not 'pity me,' it's a decision I made that's got rid of this weight that I was carrying around."

Dude, we got robbed

Newlyweds Evan Rachel Wood and Jamie Bell are having a rough start to married life.

The couple, who wed on Oct. 30, were robbed Sunday night.

The actress tweeted, "Dude! Jamie and I just got robbed. Found our hotel room ransacked. We are safe and have everything we need, so all is well. Damn."

Neither party gave details as to where they were or if they were on their honeymoon after swapping vows in California.

So. Many. Talents.

Brad Pitt can add furniture maker to his already impressive resume.

The engaged actor and father of six has teamed up with furniture designer Frank Pollaro to create a collection of home furnishings.

"I've been doodling ideas for buildings and furniture since the early 1990s," Brad told Architectural Digest.

His line, which includes a dining table, club chairs and a bed, will be unveiled Nov. 13 in New York and sold in limited, signed editions.
