Devin Nunes, chairman of the intelligence committee who recused himself from leading the investigation of a possible Russia-Trump nexus, is still receiving information about the probe.

Earlier this week, Nunes traveled to the CIA to look over Russian intelligence documents, according to a CNN report published late Thursday.

The California Republican recused himself from heading the probe more than a month ago after the public learned he had visited President Trump at the White House to review intelligence the committee had not seen.

Nunes left the committee's investigation to Reps. Mike Conaway, Trey Gowdy and Tom Rooney. He still leads the intelligence committee and receives information about intelligence, including that which relates to Russia that doesn't involve Trump.
