Donald Trump Jr. linked the shooting Wednesday morning of House Majority Whip Steve Scalise to the controversial New York City production of "Julius Caesar" that appeared to depict the assassination of his father, President Trump.
Trump Jr. shared a tweet from conservative commentator Harlan Z. Hill, who said, "events like today are EXACTLY why we took issue with NY elites glorifying the assassination of our President."
"This," added Trump Jr., who slammed the play over the weekend.
Meanwhile, Eric Trump questioned why the media wasn't covering the stock market.
"DOW, S&P 500, NYSE & Russell 2000 ALL at their all-time highs! Zero chance @CNN @MSNBC or the MSM will cover! #401Ks," he tweeted.
Scalise was shot in the hip as he practiced with other Republicans for the congressional baseball game that was scheduled to take place Thursday night. Several others were injured and the alleged gunman is in custody.
