Computer Sciences receives contract from Department of Education worth up to $29 million

FALLS CHURCH, VA. — Information-technology company Computer Sciences Corp. said Wednesday it received a contract from the Department of Education valued at up to $29 million.

The contract has a one-year base period with four one-year options. The company will operate the Department's Education Resources Information Center's online library.

Under the terms of the agreement, Computer Sciences will operate the department's online digital library. The library provides a searchable, Internet-based bibliographic and full-text database of education research and information for educators, researchers, post-secondary faculty and students, parents and the general public.
