United Technologies gets $5.4 million Army deal to refurbish helicopter for Egypt

WASHINGTON — United Technologies Corp.'s Sikorsky Aircraft recently received a $5.4 million contract from the Army to refurbish one UH-60 helicopter for the Egyptian Air Force, the Pentagon said late Tuesday.

Work is to be performed in Stratford, Conn., with an estimated completion date of Jan. 30, 2011.

Shares of the Hartford, Conn., company fell 12 cents to $63.08 in after-hours trading, after adding 54 cents to close at $63.20.
