Coal companies shares up at noon

NEW YORK — Shares of some top coal companies are up at noon:
Arch Coal rose $1.14 or 5.7 percent, to $21.27.
Consol Energy rose $2.21 or 5.0 percent, to $46.79.
Massey Energy rose $1.86 or 4.9 percent, to $40.12.
Peabody Energy rose $1.69 or 4.2 percent, to $42.14.
