Scoop: Jon and Kate rumored to announce split

Breakup buzz? A major announcement is on tap for Monday's episode of “Jon and Kate Plus 8.” (Getty Images)

Things just seem to keep getting worse for Jon and Kate Gosselin. As fans of their reality show “Jon and Kate Plus 8” brace for likely impending news of a split, Jon was spotted by paparazzi rushing son Aedan to the emergency room for what was described as a “minor injury,” Fox News reported.

Meanwhile, buzz that the Gosselins will divorce is getting ever louder, and a promo for tonight’s episode hints at a bombshell announcement.

“We haven’t really known where we were going but we’ve been dealing with this a long time,” Kate says in the TV spot.

“It just got worse and worse and worse,” Jon says. “And with all the tabloids and all that, it just made it even worse.”

It’s pretty clear where all this is going — especially since Radar Online has leaked the news that the couple plans to split. What a sad situation.

Forced Entry?

Either Samantha Ronson is a pretty forgiving person, or Lindsay Lohan is one heck of a charmer. Despite reports last week that the DJ had cut her ex completely out of her life at the urging of pal/LiLo hater Nicole Richie, the “Mean Girls” star succeeded in talking her way into Sam’s house Friday night, TMZ reports.

Of course, her eventual entry “took a little convincing, some banging and a few four-letter words,” notes the paparazzi site.

Looks like Lindsay isn’t the only one with an addictive personality. Sam just can’t seem to let her ex out of her life!

Tween Love Rekindled?

Are Miley Cyrus and Nick Jonas back together? Well, they haven’t said so in so many words, but it’s not too difficult to read between the lines. When asked by Larry King whether his current girlfriend (actress Camilla Belle) is as famous as Nick’s, big brother Joe responded, “I don’t think anybody’s as famous as Miley Cyrus.”

For his part, Nick danced around the subject, saying of the “Hannah Montana” star, “It’s good, it’s nice to have reconnected with her. ... It’s good to have the friend back.”

The tween icons were a major item back in 2007 but had a heartbreaking split. Now, it seems like all that is behind them. Guess there’s an upside to being a part of the short-attention-span generation.

Greene & Grenier

Ashley Greene says the rumors she’s dating Adrian Grenier are just that — rumors.

“I don’t know where that started from!” the actress exclaimed to Us Weekly magazine. “We ended up being at the same event and we were surfing, and we chatted and of course there happened to be a picture taken of that.”

“And now we are dating” according to the media, the “Twilight” star concluded.

“It’s kind of annoying sometimes because I have been linked to so many guys, but I have been single forever!” Ashley lamented. “I’m just like, ‘Ugh!’”

She even has to give her family a heads-up: “I usually call them and tell them before because I know what’s going to come out. I’m like, I’m not dating them!’”

Hmm ... so if there’s nothing going on, how does she know what rumors are going to come out?
