The entire Dallas Cowboys football team, including owner Jerry Jones, knelt before the national anthem at their Monday night game against the Arizona Cardinals.
Earlier reports said the team planned to make a "statement of unity" after President Trump's tweets against NFL players who protested during the anthem.
Over the weekend, players from every team protested in some way, locking arms, kneeling, or both.
On Friday night, Trump tweeted that the NFL should fire players who kneel during the anthem. His tweetstorm continued over the weekend.
"Many people booed the players who kneeled yesterday (which was a small percentage of total). These are fans who demand respect for our Flag!" he tweeted Monday.
