Five D.C. firefighters have been placed on desk duty after one of them posted a picture of D.C. police officer on Facebook and questioned why emergency crews should respond to incidents as fast as possible.

According to News4, a firefighter posted a photo of a D.C. police officer who had written a ticket for the firefighter with a comment to the effect of, "This is why we should be careful and take our time getting to incident scenes."

Four other firefighters who seemed to endorse the sentiment, were also placed on desk duty.

The incident comes two months after a D.C. police motorcycle officer who was struck by a hit-and-run driver waited more than 15 minutes before being rescued first responders from Prince George's County.
