A father who had three daughters assaulted by Larry Nassar charged the former sports doctor in a Michigan court on Friday during a sentencing hearing.
The man, Randall Margraves, asked Judge Janice Cunningham if he could have “one minute” alone with Nassar, who he called a “demon.”
“I would ask you, as part of the sentencing, to grant me five minutes alone with this demon,” Margraves said. “Would you give me one minute?”
Cunningham denied the request, telling Margraves “that’s not how our legal system works.”
The father then said aloud, “Well, I’m going to have to,” and began running toward Nassar, the former doctor for USA Gymnastics and Michigan State University.
Court bailiffs tackled Margraves, who was heard shouting “Give me one minute with that bastard!”

Two of Margraves daughters, Lauren and Madison Margraves, gave statements in court about the abuse they suffered. His third daughter said she, too, had been molested by the former sports doctor.
Nassar was sentenced to up to 175 years in prison by a judge last month. More than 260 people have said the sports doctor abused them.
He appeared in court in Eaton County, Mich., for another sentencing hearing this week for abusing gymnasts at a Michigan gymnastics club.
