A handful of celebs and singers will be heading into D.C. this weekend for official Memorial Day festivities.

First, there's Lt. Dan actor Gary Sinise, who is the host of Sunday's National Memorial Day Concert on the National Mall, alongside actor Joe Mantegna. Joining them are former Secretary of State Colin Powell, who is a staple at the show every year, and "Game Change" actor Ed Harris, who will lead a tribute for veterans of the Korean War. Musical acts include Katherine Jenkins, Alfie Boe, Chris Mann and "American Idol" winner Candice Glover. The concert will take place on the West Lawn of the U.S. Capitol, with doors opening at 5 p.m. Couch potatoes can also catch the show from home, as PBS will broadcast it live from 8 to 9:30 p.m.

Then, on Monday, Sinise and Mantegna will be joined by "Dancing with the Stars" winner and Army vet J.R. Martinez for the National Memorial Day Parade. They will be joined by country star Trace Adkins, "American Idol" alum Taylor Hicks and Miss America Mallory Hagan. The parade will step off at 2 p.m. on Constitution Avenue between Seventh and 17th streets NW.
