David Bossie, former deputy manager of the Trump campaign, said on Saturday he believes Steve Bannon will be a "loyal soldier" to President Trump from the outside.
"This is not personal to him, this is about the president's agenda," Bossie told "Fox News Sunday" guest host Bill Hemmer.
Bannon departed the White House on Friday after serving Trump in his campaign and later the Trump administration as chief strategist for a year. While Bannon said in an interview with The Weekly Standard that "the Trump presidency that we fought for, and won, is over," he also told journalist Joshua Green that he is "going to war" for Trump to take on his opponents "on Capitol Hill, in the media, and in corporate America."
Bannon rejoined Breitbart News as executive chairman hours after his departure from the White House.
