A fundraiser launched for victims of Sunday's shooting in Las Vegas has raised $2.5 million and it's still going as of late Monday night.
Clark County Commission Chair from Las Vegas, Steve Sisolak, launched the GoFundMe page to assist the victims involved in the mass shooting in Las Vegas Sunday night.
"Funds will be used to provide relief and financial support to the victims and families of the horrific Las Vegas mass shooting," statement posted on the charity page said.
More than $2.5 million had been raised Monday night. The latest goal is to reach $3 million, though that has been amended multiple times.
Stephen Paddock opened fire from the 32nd floor of the Mandalay Bay Hotel Sunday night upon concertgoers at the Route 91 Harvest country music festival. The shooting left 59 dead and more than 500 wounded.The suspect was found dead in his hotel room by law enforcement after the shooting.
