Chris Wallace to interview Putin after Trump summit

Fox News’ Chris Wallace will interview Russian President Vladimir Putin after his summit with President Trump in Helsinki, Finland, next week, the network announced Thursday.

The interview will air in full on Monday, and “will focus on the summit, Syria, Russian interference in the 2016 U.S. election, arms control and where Putin sees Russia’s place in the world.”

Wallace last interviewed Putin in September 2005 after the president’s trip to the U.S. to meet with former President George W. Bush and address the United Nations.

Former Fox News host Megyn Kelly interviewed Putin for NBC in June 2017. She interviewed him again in March 2018.

Trump is set to sit down with the Russian leader Monday for their first official summit. The two leaders met briefly in November on the sidelines of the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation summit in Vietnam. In July 2017, they had a summit at the G-20 meeting in Hamburg, Germany.
