A former heavyweight champion met with a former boxing amateur Tuesday in Las Vegas, and the champ came away raving about the amateur.

So what did Mike Tyson discuss with Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid? Boxing, of course. The two -- along with a bipartisan group of other lawmakers -- want the president to posthumously pardon heavyweight champion Jack Johnson of what Reid called "a racially motivated criminal conviction" under the Mann Act of 1913.

Tyson tweeted that Reid, who was an amateur boxer before he took office, "is quite the boxing historian" and "an all around great person."
