The only thing worse for a Kentucky fan than the Wildcats not winning an NCAA title is having to watch rival Louisville win it. And vice versa. So Kentucky's championship in 2012 was followed by the Cardinals' this season.

According to the early oddsmakers -- not to mention college basketball experts -- it won't take Kentucky long to trump the Cardinals. Perhaps the wait only will last until next spring.

Yes, Kentucky, which didn't even make the NCAA tournament, is considered the early favorite to win a title next season. The Wildcats likely will lose their requisite freshmen to the NBA Draft (Nerlens Noel, Archie Goodwin), but they also have the nation's No. 1 recruiting class upon which to build. Veterans Alex Poythress, Kyle Wiltjer and Willie Cauley-Stein will combine with incoming freshmen Aaron and Andrew Harrison (yes, Terps fans, those kids) and Julius Randle to create a formidable team.

According to those experts, the only question next year at this time will be: Can Louisville answer another Wildcats title?
