Hillary Clinton responded to President Trump's "crooked Hillary" tweet Wednesday night, with a straightforward Twitter jab.
"People in covfefe houses shouldn't throw covfefe," she tweeted.
Earlier Wednesday evening, Trump tweeted, "Crooked Hillary Clinton now blames everybody but herself, refuses to say she was a terrible candidate. Hits Facebook & even Dems & DNC."
Around midnight Wednesday, Trump tweeted, "Despite the constant negative press covfefe."
The "covfefe" gaffe and subsequent failure to delete the tweet for hours was met with widespread ridicule across the Internet on Wednesday.
