Hillary Clinton to campaign with cop critic Jay Z

Hillary Rodham Clinton is heading to Cleveland Friday to campaign with rapper Jay Z, who, along with his wife Beyonce, have drawn fire for their songs and statements accusing police of brutality.

It takes place at Cleveland State University and is part of the music industry giant's get out the vote effort.

"With more people voting in this election than any in history, Clinton will encourage voters to take advantage of early voting in Ohio," said the Clinton campaign.

Beyonce was ripped by police for her Superbowl performance of "Formation," her anti-cop song.

The song was adopted as a rallying cry for some in the "Black Lives Matter" movement. The video features scenes of flooded New Orleans and graffiti that reads: "stop shooting us."

Jay Z released "Spiritual." Upon releasing the song, he said, "Blessings to all the families that have lost loved ones to police brutality."

Among the lyrics, "Got my hands in the air in despair/don't shoot/I just wanna do good."
