Hillary Clinton is calling for an end to the electoral college.

"I think it needs to be eliminated," Clinton told CNN. "I'd like to see us move beyond it, yes."

The 2016 presidential candidate won the popular vote by nearly 3 million votes but her losing in pivotal states like Pennsylvania, Wisconsin, and Michigan cost her the Electoral College and thus, the presidency.

On her book tour for her memoir, What Happened, Clinton has said numerous things, from former FBI Director James Comey to Russia to the media, contributed to her loss.
