Have you noticed an uptick in social media behavior amongst House Republicans? That might be due to the 2013 Digital Challenge issued by congressional leadership.

House Republican Conference Chair Cathy McMorris Rodgers, R-Wash. announced the winners of the 2013 House GOP Digital Challenge on Wednesday.

1st Place – Rep. Darrell Issa, R-Calif.
2nd Place – Rep. Jim Bridenstine, R-Okla.
3rd Place – Rep. Jeff Duncan R-S.C.

“All of our House Republican Members did their best, and I’m proud to serve with Members so committed to spreading our message of jobs and economic growth using digital media,” Rogers said in a statement noting that their digital engagement “has never been greater.”

“Our efforts led to more than 4 million online engagements across Facebook, Twitter, and YouTube during the 45 days of the challenge,” she added.
