WATCH LIVE: Fauci, CDC chief, and head of FDA grilled by Senate Health Committee

The Senate Health Committee is set to hear from the country’s top health leaders on Thursday regarding the future of coronavirus response and pandemic policies moving forward.

Since the production of viable vaccines for the COVID-19 virus, the United States government has failed to stay consistent on its messaging about the pandemic. The hearing is intended to clarify and explain the future of the pandemic response in the United States and what citizens can expect in the months to come.

The hearing is titled “Next Steps: The Road Ahead for the COVID-19 Response.”

Experts set to testify include: Dr. Anthony Fauci, director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, National Institutes of Health; Dr. Janet Woodcock, acting commissioner of the Food and Drug Administration; Dr. Rochelle Walensky, director of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention; and Dawn O’Connell, assistant secretary for preparedness and response for the Department of Health and Human Services.
