Donald Trump confirmed Friday that he will indeed attend the next debate hosted by Fox News on March 3 in Detroit after skipping the last one the network broadcast before the Iowa caucus.
In an interview with NewsmaxTV's Steve Malzberg, Trump said he will be there and that he has "no objection" to being at the debate with FNC.
"No, I'll be there," Trump said. "I have no objection to being there, and that had nothing to do with Megyn Kelly. It was the fact that I went out of the last one — I had to deal with a memo that was sent out by Fox that was a little bit taunting, and I said it would be inappropriate"
Trump added that he doesn't regret missing the last debate because of the $6 million he raised for wounded veterans, adding that he "did the right thing."
The news comes after Trump blamed his second place finish in Iowa on missing the debate, as well as the real estate mogul playing coy on whether he'd attend the March debate, saying Thursday "we'll see."
