President Obama praised Romneycare Wednesday afternoon at a campaign rally for Massachusetts Senate candidate Ed Markey.
During his speech, Obama explained that he needed a Democratic senator to help him implement Obamacare in 2014.
“[I]n a nation this wealthy, nobody should have to go without affordable, accessible health care,” Obama explained. “They don’t have to do it in Massachusetts. They shouldn’t have to do it anywhere else.”
The health care plan in Massachusetts, of course, was passed by then-Gov. Mitt Romney in 2006.
