Secretary of State Rex Tillerson will have to kick off an apology tour after President Trump returns from his Asia trip, late-night host James Corden joked Monday.
“President Donald Trump arrived in Japan over the weekend to kick off a 13-day trip through Asia. Following the president’s trip, Secretary of State Rex Tillerson will then kick off his own 13-day trip to apologize for everything Donald Trump says,” Corden quipped.
Tillerson is accompanying Trump on his Asia tour, which began Friday.
Trump left Japan on Monday for South Korea. He will also visit China, Vietnam, and the Philippines before heading back to the U.S.
Corden joked that Trump considers Japan, Vietnam, and the Philippines to be part of China.
