On the "Tonight Show" on Tuesday, comedian Jimmy Fallon shared a few rare political jokes, mocking Secretary of State John Kerry and Sarah Palin for their comments on Russia and President Obama for a "selfie" photo.

"Secretary of State John Kerry went on 'Meet the Press' yesterday and actually criticized Russia for its action in the Ukraine. He said, 'You just don't invade another country on phony pretext in order to assert your interest,' " Fallon began before landing the punchline. "Then he said, 'I mean, we stopped doing that, like, months ago.' "

Fallon also pointed out that Palin was right about Russia invading Ukraine if Obama had been elected.

"Then John McCain said, 'Well, at least one of us made a good call,' " Fallon joked.

Fallon also pointed out that Obama took a "selfie" photo with Bill Nye "The Science Guy" and astrophysicist Neil deGrasse Tyson.

"I heard that photo set the record for the least re-tweeted photo of all time," Fallon joked, as the crowd laughed and applauded.
