Comedian Jimmy Fallon mocked the immigration bill promoted Wednesday by President Trump, saying the president would have to deport himself over his English-speaking skills.

"President Trump announced a new immigration plan that would favor people who speak English, which is why tonight he had to deport himself," the "Tonight Show" host said Wednesday.

Fallon then imitated some of Trump's viral statements to make his point.

"I am bigly, bigly sad," he quipped. "Covfefe."

Trump unveiled the skills-based immigration bill, the RAISE Act, on Wednesday at the White House with Republican Sens. David Perdue of Georgia and Tom Cotton of Arkansas.

"This competitive application process will favor applicants who can speak English, financially support themselves and their families and demonstrate skills that will contribute to our economy. The RAISE act prevents immigrants from collecting welfare and protects U.S. workers from being displaced," Trump said.
