For those who just can't get enough of shows like "Deadliest Catch" and "Mythbusters," Discovery Communications founder and Executive Chairman John Hendricks is headed to the National Press Club to talk TV success. Hendricks writes about the foundations of Silver Spring-based Discovery in his new book "A Curious Discovery: An Entrepreneur's Story." In it, he takes readers behind the scenes of some of the conglomerate's most popular shows, including "The Crocodile Hunter," "Planet Earth," "Dirty Jobs" and "Trading Spaces." Hendricks will appear June 27 at 6:30 p.m. Interviewing Hendricks is a blast from the past, former CNN anchor Paula Zahn. Tickets for the event cost $5 for National Press Club members, $10 for the general public. A book signing will follow.
