"The Daily Show" host Jon Stewart had a lot of fun with Sen. Mitch McConnell's b-roll video footage released by his campaign this week.
Stewart admitted Thursday that he was in a terrible mood until the clip came into his life, and shared some of his favorite mashups of the footage with popular songs.
The campaign footage has spread quickly online, and enterprising video editors have created their own videos.
"We're going to be going on break for a week but this game should not," Stewart said, encouraging everyone to make their own mashup using the hashtag #McConnelling.
The McConnell campaign has embraced the creativity, highlighting the very best mashups on their website.
Some of the videos featured on the site include mashups of the footage with TV shows like "Full House," "Family Matters," and "The Cosby Show."
