Actress Julia Louis-Dreyfus says she has been asked by top Democrats to run for office.

The star of "Veep" responded that it will never happen, according to the Washington Post.

The report did not reveal which Democrats had approached the actress.

Louis-Dreyfus endorsed former Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton in July.

She spoke out against President Trump's immigrant ban during the SAG Awards in January.

"My father fled religious persecution in Nazi- occupied France. I'm an American patriot, and I love this country. Because I love this country, I am horrified by its blemishes and this immigrant ban is a blemish and it's un-American," she said.
