Conservative commentator Charles Krauthammer said he will not vote for Republican nominee Donald Trump but will instead write in House Speaker Paul Ryan or Nebraska Sen. Ben Sasse on Election Day.

Neither candidate is running for president.

Krauthammer has long been a critic of Trump and so has Sasse. Ryan endorsed Trump in June.

In a column for the Washington Post on Friday, Krauthammer explained he could not vote for Democrat Hillary Clinton but that he could "never" support Trump.

"The only question is whose name I'm going to write in," he said. "With Albert Schweitzer doubly unavailable (noncitizen, dead), I'm down to Paul Ryan or Ben Sasse. Two weeks to decide."
