Lebron James defended fellow NBA player Stephen Curry against President Trump on Saturday morning calling Trump a "bum" after he attacked Curry on Twitter.

"U bum @stephencurry30 already said he ain't going! So therefore ain't no invite. Going to White House was a great honor until you showed up!" James, who plays for the Cleveland Cavaliers, tweeted on Saturday morning.

President Trump tweeted Saturday morning that he was "withdrawing" Curry's invitation to the White House for "hesitating" to accept.

A day earlier, Curry repeated his desire not to join his team, the Golden State Warriors, when they visit the White House to celebrate last season's NBA Finals victory.
