Lanier loses another round of 'All Hands' litigation

D.C. Police Chief Cathy Lanier lost another round in her battle to save her controversial "All Hands on Deck" program Monday. An arbitrator denied Lanier's motion to reconsider his original ruling striking down "All Hands" and ordering the department to pay officers overtime for this year's events. Lanier has said her "All Hands" events -- which flood city streets with thousands of cops, mostly on weekends -- is vital to protecting the public. Critics, including the police union, have said it's a publicity stunt that drains stations of manpower after the events are over. Arbitrator John Truesdale has now twice sided with the union. Attorney General Peter Nickles said he'll appeal Truesdale's decision with the city's employee relations board. -- Bill Myers

Ok Kathy, pay the people. You lost again! Only problem is where are you going to get the money? Now Nickles wants to use PERB? What a joke! Fenty didn't want PERB to exist. He violated the law and refused to nominate individuals for PERB for two years and now the executive sees a purpose for PERB because they lost a battle. What a freaking joke this entire Fenty administration is. They just can't accept that when you break labor laws you must pay!!!!! Stop wasting our tax dollars with your continued fight. It's over! It's over! Get that? It's over!!!!!!

HaHaHaHa Kathy and Fenty. And you lost another major decision this week concerning your ridiculous contention that when other district agencies violate our CBA there is nothing the FOP can do about that. so go ahead and transfer our payroll back to the dept. like the arbitrator said. YOU KATHY ARE A JOKE.
